Crack and Damage Repair

Bow Rehairing

The bow is often called the voice of a string player's sound, and worn hair significantly affects tone production and control. Regular rehairing keeps bows performing at their best, with new hair providing consistent grip and response across the full length.

We use quality horsehair selected for appropriate weight and texture based on playing style. Violinists may prefer different hair characteristics than cellists, and we accommodate these preferences. Each rehair includes minor adjustments to ensure proper spread and tension.
